The purpose of this site is to put Majoie Hajary in the spotlights, to track down more compositions, make it available and get it performed. In 2025 her biography will be published by Waanders publishers, written by Ellen de Vries, who also compiled this website on the basis of her own research and data from others (see Thanks to). New information is regularly added and is most welcome. Majoie Hajary’s archive (photos, letters, scores et cetera) will be preserved at the Nederlands Muziek Instituut (Netherlands Music Institute in The Hague). Music recordings can also be found at Beeld &Geluid in Hilversum.
